On April 15, 2010 a Context MasterClass lecture has taken place in Utrecht about Social Media.
People organise themselves more and more in online (social) networks and exchange information about everything that interest them. Through Social Media the (global) citizen takes the role of a co-creator. What is the background of Social Media? And how can Social Media help to strenghten public support for global affairs?
Sanne Roemen has given an interesting presentation during this Context MasterClass and gave some new insights on this topic.
Please find the 30 minutes video report ( in Dutch) of this Context MasterClass lecture here.
A recent article in the new glossy magazine QPQ Het nieuwe ondernemen, published by the Dutch Foundation on Social Entrepreneurship, focuses on social return on investment (SROI). The article Social measurement (De maatschapelijke meetlat) April 2010, No. 1, pages 44-47) by Gaston Dorren introduces the SROI methodology, based on interviews with Context colleagues, Fons van der Velden, Jan Bouwers and Ester Prins.
